“I really enjoyed this course. It was all well explained step by step. We could program each step ourselves to understand what we are doing. And still, there was a working version available in case we fell behind or couldn't be bothered at some stages. All questions were answered or taken into interesting, insightful discussions. Some problems were solved 42Style: I don't know what I did, it just works. Don't touch it any further. It is nice to have this course in NXTSpace and with members from other institutions. This is great for the connection between the different institutions of Bildungscampus. The laptops were provided by MakerSpace. I really like the idea of all working together, providing resources where they can easily do so. It also means that I, as a person, get recognised in those different places as they know about each other and the institution where I am a member. It might need a course beforehand for peers who have no idea about embedded programming at all. I have looked into embedded programming myself, done a beginners' course at MakerSpace, and looked into the Arduino Starter Kit. Also, gdb debugging during the L3 Cybersecurity Track gave me an understanding of registers and directly addressing them. I would not have known about the addresses of the registers we directly used when programming the ESP microcontroller. There was also this encouragement to just try things out and provide courses by ourselves, as here we have these opportunities and resources. It doesn't matter if we make mistakes. Someone will learn from or enjoy the course we give, whatever level it might be.”

“Very nice event and I would love to see more in the future. For the time we had, this structure was the best. Another alternative could be for the same event to be split into 2–3 parts, with some days in between to work on each part on our own (only the code, of course) and review it.
